A day before The Trip

We are now at Oasis Hotel near Salak Tinggi station.

We will stay here before our flight tomorrow morning at 5.15am. It is supposed to be at 1.00am and we already planned our itinerary according to the time, but the Air Asia X aircraft is going to be used for humanitarian evacuation in Cairo, Egypt so our flight has been retimed. Its been on the news!

We had breakfast and lunch from KFC at Kl Sentral.
Breakfast set (cheezy egg bun) for RM7.20 excluding tax

We took KLIA Express from KLIA to KL Sentral (to change money to KRW at Masjid Jamek) then to Salak Tinggi

If you have Kad Siswa, you can have almost RM10 off the ticket price!

We watched Cinta Jannah on TV at the hotel. Cheesy storyline. Ughhh.

I am on my Tab. I dont bring my laptop to Korea. So I might have limited time to write to you. And you know how much I hate writing using my Tab.

But lets see how it goes, okay?

I'll post pictures on my Instagram though! Search for me there : nourelain244 :D

Bye bye for now!

Of Durian Crepe and Islam

I got my laptop back already!!! YESSS!!! :D

About Durian Crepe. See these pictures!

Tah-daaa!! Shiny!
Ahhh the delicious Durian!
When Adlin got the crepes out from the fridge, I was so shocked because the crepes were hard, not soft! My Dad said that I got the recipe wrong.

Then I thought, No way it's wrong! I followed all the steps from the recipe! From here! As for the filling, I just use whipped fresh cream! And durian!

But 15 minutes later, I almost screamed in delight when I tasted it again.

It turned out that the whipped cream hardens when you put it in the fridge for too long!

After a while, it will soften again!

I gave my Dad his second try.

He just smiled and said nothing!

I was so happy. So so happy!

I still am :D

On another topic, have you read the news about this one British lingerie model who quits her job and reverts to Islam? Her boyfriend is a Muslim from Tunisia, a good-looking fella. Here's the full article.

“He accepts that [glamour modeling] is what I do and doesn’t try to change me. But he says once we are married my body is for his eyes only.”

Watts now covers her shoulders and ankles out of respect when she is with her future in laws. She also fasted during Ramadan last month.

Covering shoulders and ankles. Fasting. That's a good start!

“Women are treated with respect and they also respect themselves and their bodies. They don’t do one-night stands or casual flings. When I’m with Mohammed I feel so content, calm and happy. I know he’s the kind, family man for me.”

A handful of critics on Twitter had nothing but vitriol for the model’s decision. “You've pissed away ur career, & now ur'e nothin but a controlled woman, a slave,” wrote one. Another warned her not to unpack in Tunisia. But a lone tweeter praised Watts, writing, “Welcome to islam dear, masha allah [praise God], finally u got right path.”

A controlled woman, a slave? Hahahaha. That's hilarious. Clearly, you know so little about Islam. Do your research, will you? :)

Welcome to Islam, Carley Watts!

Since we are talking about this, my Mom showed me this video on Facebook. Have you watched it?

Awwwwwwww :')

And about the women in Sweden show solidarity by wearing headscarves after a Muslim woman is assaulted. Pictures here and articles from BBC here. #hijabuppropet

It's so sad to see so much hate everywhere in the world.

Pray for Egypt!

"The believers are nothing else than brothers. So make reconciliation between your brothers, and fear Allah, that you may receive mercy."
[Al-Hujjurat, 49:10]

The Prophet صلى الله عليه وسلم also said about brotherhood: "None of you truly believes until he loves for his brother what he loves for himself."
[Bukhari & Muslim]

The Prophet صلى الله عليه وسلم said: "Do not have malice against a Muslim; do not be envious of other Muslims; do not go against a Muslim and forsake him. O the slave of Allah! Be like brothers with each other. It is not allowed for a Muslim to desert his brother for over three days."

[Muslim & Tirmidhi]

All clothes are in these 2 zip lock compressor travel bags!
Put them in a backpack and put the backpack inside another luggage bag!
And a sling bag! Almost done almost done!

Ahhhh two more days to go!!! I AM EXCITED!

Okay. Bye bye for now.

You take care! :)

Of Pasar Tani and Abang Burn

Going to Pasar Tani every Sunday is a routine for my parents. But since my Dad went to Kelantan early this morning, so I was the one who drove my Mom and Adlin to the market to buy stuff.

Located just in front of UTC
The cow's heart and the liver. Can you see them?
We saw the brains and the intestines and the tails, too!
Crabs, squids, fishhhh
Buah jering and jambu
Buah nona Buah nona!! :D
And langsat and small oranges
At 5pm, me and my Mom and Adlin sent Syakirah and Izzah to their school, SMA Al-Maarif, Bukit Goh. It took us half an hour to get there.

On our way back home, we stopped by at.......

Burger Bakar Abang Burn!!
Located at Jungle Cafe,
just in front of the newly-built Kuantan Medical Centre, Indera Mahkota
The menu
There were eight staffs working there!
Adlin asked me, 'Kak Ain mane satu nye Abang Burn?'
Then I said, 'Tu haa yang muka dia macam terbakar sikit tu... Nampak?'
She seemed puzzled. I laughed.
The burgers!
Messy when they got into our hands. Hahaha
I am now in the process of making Durian Crepe. My Dad offered me RM100 if I could make them as delicious as they were sold in the market.

And I hereby accept the challenge!

I've never tried the recipe so I am a bit worried if they taste bad. But there's always a first time in everything, right?

Try and error. I like that approach.

Have a good day!! :D

Of Visits, Breads, Laces and KTO

Today was our fifth day of optional fasting. Tomorrow's the last one! Yay!

My laptop had been sent for a fix. I am using my sister's laptop for blog updates.

Ahhhh without my laptop, I become too lazy to write stuff here. Hahaha

So for the last few days/nights, we had visited our neighbours' houses, as usual. Enjoy the pictures! :D

Mi sup!
Makcik Asmah's house
My childhood friend, Fatimah Zahrah and her niece, Iris :)
The next night - Makcik Siti's
Mi sup again!! :D
Eating while watching TV
And posing! Hahaha
Last night was at Aunty Nisah's house
And yeah, we ate mi sup :)
The buns aka muffin buns and a loaf of bread that I made...
...after the second day of trying! The breads on first day suck!

My eldest sister gave a thumbs up but my Dad said that they taste 'not like bread', hahaha
I need to add more sugars into the mix!
I'll do that the next time I feel like making bread again.
Remember that short yellow dress my Mom doesnt like?
She made me put laces on it!
And I learned how to sew! :D
My next project: Sew some laces on my cardigans!
Tomorrow all of us will go to Kuala Lumpur. My sister Jehan had asked me to accompany her to go to Korea Travel Organisation (KTO).

Since I havent made any contribution to our itinerary (I leave that to Kak Nor and Jehan because they are more experienced in all of that stuff), so I gotta at least go to KTO with her. Aishhh if it's up to me, Id rather stay at home and do my own stuff!

Way to guilt me into going! Clever!

Map to KTO Malaysia
Take Monorail to Bukit Nanas and walk to Menara Hap Seng
The KTO Malaysia website here
Discount coupons?! Hope they have thattt!! :D

Tonight we dont go visit any house.

Dah boring da asyik asyik makan mi sup je... Hahahaha kidding!

After this, I am gonna take shower and then pray. And after that, maybe I'll read a book. Or reading random news on the internet. And then go to bed.

You have a good good day okayy!!
